In Part Two of Vulcan’s Rare Remarks video interview with Chef Jonathan Zaragoza, he talks about the personal side of living through a pandemic, and how prioritizing mental health is at the forefront.

From a new restaurant venture to Etta James-inspired ice cream making, Zaragoza talks about how he’s been staying busy through it all. But most importantly, he’s making sure his cup is full. “The industry is changing where mental health and all that stuff is coming to the forefront. And people need to be okay with just talking about it,” says Zaragoza. “Before a chef, before a restauranteur, you’re a human being…you can’t pour from an empty cup.”
